The small community of OK Falls is located just at the end of Skaha lake in the Okanagan Valley, and just 26 km south of Penticton. Formerly known as Dogtown, OK Fakks was renamed after the samll twin waterfalls located at the end of Skaha lake. The falls have since been reduced to gentle rapids over the years, but the name has remained.
Okanagan Falls may be a small community but has become famous for providing the Okanagan with fresh fruit and vegetables, and dried fruit. As well as award winning wines provided by, Wild Goose Vineyards, and Hawthorne Mountain Vineyards.
